Having suffered from depression for decades, and currently facing the biggest challenge of my life, I came to Tim with low expectations of change. Within very few sessions, my mind was blown. With tenderness and precision Tim has shown me the beautiful simplicity of creating new ways of thinking, all while in a deep trance state. How can I express my thoughts and feelings about Tim and the service he is providing for other people struggling out there in the world. In a word, “brilliant”. I have suffered from anxiety all my life. Most of the time it’s manageable and other times it is very challenging. GAD or generalised anxiety disorder can manifest in so many ways. For me it comes to the surface with social anxiety, thinking about future events or even simply feeling anxious about the world we live in and the pressure we face on a day to day basis. Tim greets you from the moment you meet him with a giant kind disarming smile and a warm friendly hand shake. He is unique, you will instantly feel a sense of calm and joy from your very first session which only grows in every session as you progress. He will focus on limiting cortisol from your system and actually create new neural pathways in your brain by making Gaba. This is the primary inhibitory neurotransmitter in the brain. Benefits include feeling calm and relaxed and plays a vital role in promoting sleep and helps lower cortisol. My personal anxiety in recent times had become completely debilitating due to a number or factors, changing careers, middle of life concerns and other external pressures that come with living in our fast paced modern life. My sleep was effected the most. I simply was not sleeping as my entire system was basically going into fight or flight mode everyday making it virtually impossible to chill and everything would manifest at night when things become quiet. Tim will guide you through a trance like meditation and help you to relax and let go. He will put you at ease using his special process that he actually created himself. Using your own personal story he will walk you through your stressors and you will come out the other side feeling amazing, there really is no other word for it, all concerns and worries will evaporate. This wonderful euphoric feeling will dissipate somewhat over the coming days after a session however after just a couple more sessions the brain does something incredible, it actually changes the way you look at things and that is where you really start to see improvement. Tims work has even helped our front line first responders such as paramedics, police officers and more. Check out the amazing video review on his website. Tim is always available by email and phone and you can always book another session with him if you feel you need a little help down the road. Mental health is a serious issue. Doctors may prescribe medication to help, psychologist may talk you through the issue, I suppose everybody has to find there person or method of coping however Tim will do more than that, he will pick you up, reset you and make you fly. After many years working in a human service frontline role and other personal challenges I started to experience anxiety early this year. It became so bad I was having what I can only describe as rolling panic attacks. I became so scared of these experiences and on alert constantly for signs that an episode was about to start. I had tried all forms of support from Yoga, Meditation, Tai Chi, Acupuncture, Reiki. I was walking everyday, adjusting my diet, cutting out caffeine and ended up leaving my job and still the anxiety and high alert energy persisted.
I found Tim online and found the reviews for him to really resonate with me and the experience I was having. The relief people expressed was what I was desperately needing and I got in contact straight away. Tim was so caring, responsive and accomodating I instantly felt encouraged.
From the first session I had with Tim I learnt so much about the process of hypnotherapy and the mechanics of what is occurring in the brain when we go into a hypnotic state. When he explained the function of GABA in blocking the messages causing the nervous system to release cortisol and adrenaline a light bulb went off in my brain. He explained hypnosis is a powerful way to increase the GABA in our systems so that it can effectively block these messages and result in a more regulated nervous system that is not constantly in a state of alert. We also did the work in understanding what internal messages were stored in my subconscious and developed the alternate narratives and images to counter these messages.
After my first session with Tim I left feeling the calmest I had felt in 3 months and empowered by the knowledge and tools I had leant. In total I had 5 sessions and can honestly say it has been life changing for me. I have learnt to manage what anxiety remains and rebuilt my confidence with a better understanding of myself. I couldn’t recommend Tim more highly. He was a kind and generous practitioner who radiates positivity and enthusiasm for his craft. Thank you so much Tim 🙏
